Fun had by all at the Anza Club

Last night marked Urban Project’s second fund raiser which helped us to take one more big step toward our $10k goal for 2008’s project in Dar es Salaam. A fantastic group of engaged folks showed up, making it a great party. A number of our guests took it upon themselves to make up for those that couldn’t be there by buying LOTS of drink tickets, which we facilitated with great wine and a generous partial beer donation from Red Truck Brewery.

Many thanks to our wonderful volunteers at the door, on sound, on music, and those guilt tripping our guests into a 50/50 windfall!

We had 3 fabulous music acts through the night, kicking off with Brie Neilson.

James Lamb followed up with a beautiful set accompanied by Sara Ciantar and Brie for a few songs.

Miami Device kicked it up to a dance party later in the evening once everyone was well-mingled, inspiring many to stay up way past their bedtime on a Wednesday night.

Thanks to all of you that made the night a success, and thoroughly enjoyable. Pencil us in for a pub night (and send off!!) at Lola’s on Broadway on October 17th.
